About D.Chidgey

This is a collection of black and white film photographs exploring landscape, movement, atmosphere and the passing of time.

The work is made primarily with 35mm analogue cameras, including the Minolta XD-7, and films such as Ilford Pan F 50 and HP5. Long exposures, movement and deliberate imperfections are part of the process.

The photographs are made in and around London and wherever the landscape offers something worth slowing down to observe.
